Welcome to the Retail Witch experience! I’m Jess, your friendly neighbourhood Retail Witch and the creator behind this candle company. Here at Retail Witch, we handcraft 100% soy wax candles with wooden wicks, free from phthalates, designed to ignite your senses and enhance your manifestations.

How did Retail Witch come to be? Well, let me take you on a little journey. During the pandemic, I was working full-time as a front-line worker, dealing with everything from cranky customers to a corrupt head office and the fear of COVID-19. It was a rough ride—overworked, underpaid, struggling with my mental health, and completely burnt out. On top of all that, I lost my beloved grandmother in 2020, which deeply affected me.

I’ve always been a spiritual soul, dabbling in witchcraft, but it was during this tough time that I dove deeper into my spirituality than ever before. One night, my grandmother visited me in a dream, showing me the light and guiding me out of my depression. That dream was a turning point, leading me to a path of self-discovery and an ADHD diagnosis.

Being neurodivergent, focusing and grounding myself in the present moment can be quite the challenge. However, I discovered that candles could help. They engage my senses and bring me into the perfect headspace for manifestation, grounding me, and helping me tune into my emotions. So, I decided to create custom manifestation candles for everyone, especially those who, like me, struggle with focus and emotional regulation. Retail Witch candles are more than just scented candles—they’re a whole vibe. Each candle is crafted to create a new world, setting the tone and mood for your manifestations.

Every candle is hand-poured at my home and is packaged without plastic because sustainability is just as important as spirituality. The name “Retail Witch” symbolizes my transformation from a regular retail worker to embracing my witchy, magical self.
